have been looking around for a new light system to run in summer were i live as it gets way to hot even with inlines were i am and im spending near on 400bucks every 3months on running a ac i have 2 lights in mind a t5 ho set up or a led set up which do use think would be the better 2 set ups and these lights im looking at getting

I ran t5ho and it generates quite a bit of heat. An efficient LED like Area 51 would produce more light, less heat.

Also, if you grow tall photosensitives, I didn't think t5ho penetrated enough in flower. It worked well on shorter autoflowers in flower. But, not taller photosensitives. It was ok. But, not great.

t5's work awesome for veg and cloning but LEDs are def better for flowering. T5s do not have the intensity or coverage needed for big dense buds, since you need to have your t5 panel so close to your plant for it to work at all.
