lens on quantum boards

is anyone using lens on quantum boards?i am doing a comparision test between a kingbrite and my cxb3590 with lens
the kingbrite is working nice but the cxb light has tighter buds and slightly bigger buds.
i am running lights about 24 inches from my vertical scrog.
i am running 8 cxb3590 with 2 hlg185h-c 1400b dimmed to 318 watts at wall with a kilawatt meter.they have the kingbrite lens on them.
the kingbrite is 6 of their lm301h with epi far red and uv and ir boards running on a hlg 320h 48ab full power on 2 of the three board heat sinks.
so far it has not shown to be better than my older lights.i might try moving the kingbrite closer to plant next run.
any input is appreciated!

If your qbs are also 24" away, the COBs will win, hands down.

You need a par meter if you want to make this comparison legit.

You can push twice as much power into those 288 boards. I run 3 boards per hlg320.

edit to add:
Imo you'd be better off for this comparison with 3 boards and your current driver. You're not getting the penetration they're capable of.

if i run 3 at 320 watts i do not get good enough coverage.my plants are 6 foot tall not including medium and buckets and about three feet wide.penetration is not the issue.i have been running vert for years in various forms.the buds in the premium zone less than 16 inches from lights are not as nice as the buds the same distance from the lights on the cxb fixture.i have run the three board at 320 watts and it worked ok but less coverage than my cxb lights for the same power.this is my first run using 2 three board fixtures driven by one 320 watt driver.

what would that accomplish?i am growing my medicine not writing a book.
the plants tell me what is better.
right now my tried and true cxb3590 @3500k @318 watts is beating the kingbrite qb knockoffs easily.when i ran it with only three boards at 320 i didnt get enough coverage for my fairly large plants.running them softer at around 50 watts a board is more efficient but not grow wise.i am asking if anyone is using lens on their qbs and how they like them.i just finished a plant the same size as the two in this comparsion lit by my oldest cxb3590 lights with 6 cobs with lens @300 watts and pulled 18.4 oz.if the two plants, which finish in the next few weeks ,both pull close to the same weight i would take the cxb bud over the qb bud .i do not think the qb bud will be as much as the cxb.
if anyone has had similar or oppisite findings please let me know!

the closest buds are less than or around 16 inches from the light.i do not think i would want to run much closer than that.
the closest buds on the qb plant are not as close together or as big as the cxb bud in the same zone.it is easily noticible when looking at the two plants since they are next to each other.
i do not think it is the far red or ir and uv causing the buds to be more stretched out but the intensity of light and that is on the closest buds that should look the best out of the whole plant.
both plants are the same strain,same age,cloned from the same mother and just about exactly the same size at flip.both are in my ppk hydro system being fed the same time same nutes from the same res.
i need a few more lights and am now thinking of just building some more cxb lights.i was going to buy the real qb if i liked the knock offs but for what i am doing i dont think the design is as good or efficient as cxb with lens.
