I work for Domino's and as much as I hate the management and the company, there's nothing seriously wrong that happens with the food. The dough isn't frozen, and it's always a really clean place (there is actually no freezer at our store). We have certain cleaning schedules that have to be completed by certain times of every day. And we always have corporate and secret shoppers coming in to check things out.
The management and the company, however, they're shitty. Domino's as a whole does not care about its employees or customers. They're a very Christian, anti-minority, anti-Semetic company. The training videos I had to watch specifically talked about the Golden Rule and God's Will when working for Domino's The anti-Semetism and anti-minority status is just based on the history of the company. Like Ford, they used to not hire people who were openly Jewish.
Another thing we claim is a 30 minute guarantee. In the 1980s Dominos used to say that if you didnt get your delivery in 30 minutes it would be free. Their employees would then be held monetarily responsible for any "late deliveries" (funny thing is, most deliveries take 35-40 minutes). So drivers would drive like crazy, speed 20 over, run stop signs and lights, cut people off, etc. It's probably where people get the idea of insane delivery drivers. But they were only doing what the compnay made them do. Finally, a driver killed a woman in Austin, TX and Dominos had to start settling hundreds of lawsuits for millions of dollars (by both customers and employees). So now when we say, "You got 30 minutes," it's not actually a guarantee, but rather a poor estimate. I actually refuse to say it on the phone because it's a blatant lie (I choose to give customers an accurate time).
Actually, I don't do a lot of the immoral things the company and management want us to do, and I do get in trouble for it every now and then, as do other drivers. But whatever, they'll have to fire me if they have a problem with it. I'll never quit so I'll be able to claim unemployment.
