how high of ppm you talking? Im at mid 400s on a .7 conversion factor. Trying to decide if its worth investing in another RO since mine burst this past winter. (palmtoface) been meaning to talk to some of the soil guys about what that does to the soil as well, I know low ppm water would flush at nutes faster than what id probably like, but if its between that and locking things out from my crappy water, Ill take dealing with amending down the road.
I've never measured it, but I have to use lime-away

A higher ppm tap in soil just means building the soil with less limestone, then it should be just fine.

If it was hydro, nitric acid can be used to convert the calcium carbonate in the water to calcium nitrate and CO2 gas. Then you'd just use less calcium nitrate.

mid 400+ppm is high and i would suggest using RO with cal/mag amendments in LOS.......i'm bordering around mid 200 with filtered philly tap

almost that time Scotch:weed:

Yesssssss it isssss.

I'll get an RO, I have oyster shells heavily amended so I'm not too worried about stripping it.

Haha, no I'm not expecting to get it for a while...............................wait "was"....did you get yours?

I like the Lauch Box, but it feels delicate to me. That's scaring me because I might end up doing something stupid like sitting on it, lol. Hits aren't as hard as I'd like, but maybe that's because I'm used to smoking the pipe...lol. I like it though, so I hope this doesn't sound like a negative review. I actually used a friend's a few times first (dude was nice enough to let me borrow it for a couple days), then I bought my own just earlier today...should be here by the end of the week:)

Wow.. You even had to super crop the party cup?

The party cup is acting like Rockwool with the drip...lol
Yeah, she stood right back up after bending her over, so I had to teach her a lesson, lawl. That cup girl is a monster. I hope she puts big buds on that huge frame.

I think its those blumats. Everyone's growth is crazy with those.
Me too....They water the plants just right. I was close with hand watering, but the blumats do it better. I could tell before I did the cup that they would work well based on how they did the LSD in my 6 inch pot. Got almost 2oz's out of it....around 50 grams. I really want to smash that OZ mark though.............................

mcp, i'm putting it together, the cup is dirt, water through blumat but nutes separate (non organic style nutes)?

I had great growth with hydro/coco/blumat but not so much in organic, still figuring it out. I don't think the biota (&maybe surface roots) like me flooding the soil/blumat pots each week.

Looks great!

I'm running nutes through the blumat drippers...I add them to the res. But for the veg tent, I use the blumats, and they don't have a dripper...no nutes through them.

thanks dude!

Grasshopper site is now estimating July shipping. Not sure if that is just for new orders or for all orders including completed ones. Hope not because when I ordered last month shipping was scheduled for May

I read on reddit that the July shipping was for new orders....so keeping fingers crossed that the May estimated ship date is a real one.......
