some people just pay alot for some dogs because they want them to be part of their breeding business and some just want them for show, but I don't have that kind of money and only paid $500 for mine

i bought 2 of my girls from makavelipits.com look them up email the owner and ask what the kurupt-shakira pups sold 4 i bought 1st pick and third, i paid 9100 for the blue girl and fawn girl, there out of the kurupt-shakira litter, im sure theres other pups for sale on the site youll see the prices, i aint got no reason 2 lie i can afford it!! you cant see anybody spending 15 stacks on 3 pups cuz your broke!! only a broke hater would speak on some shit they know nothing about, oyea and about the training my dogs are being trained by a police dog trainer i think he knows better than you when my dogs are ready 2 bite
alright man, i beleive you paid what you did. and -i apologize- for that portion of my post. i've seen these online auctions for 1st, 2nd, 3rd picks etc.... like i said, i would never pay that much because no dog that hasn't been Championed is worth that much. But to each his own.
as far as training goes... i doubt it. Police trained dogs aren't good family companions. I would not trust one around my neighbors children or my own. Police trained dogs aren't even allowed to go to a normal home usually when they are no longer needed, they are just put down, because they are a liability.

get an american bulldog if you want a 'pit-like' dog that is reliable and suited for man-work.

first you go spend 15gs on pits that you cannot even train yourself? then you pay someone else to train them to attack for you? whats the point of having an attack dog if you cannot control the dog? you basically just have a bloodthirsty animal running around. police dogs spend every waking moment training with thier handlers. they do not just have a police dog school where they train em and hand em off to some schmuck with a badge. a dog has to learn to respect and obey its master, learn to love and protect him, and be willing to die for him.
people like you are the reason that they try to ban breeds and that there are tons of pups in pit bull and rottweiler rescue. how you handle and train your dogs shows a lot about your personality and i would guess you are some punk with little man syndrome or insecure or who knows maybe just shit for brains, and all you want is some dog to personify what a badass you are..

dont you understand that a dog is a big responsibility? and having a tough minded dog like a rott or a pit takes a lot more effort than some other dog? they have a desire in them to be the alpha male and will challenge anyone in their path.. you are not being the dogs alpha male obviously because he does not even obey simple commands.. the dog feels that it is the leader and does not have to obey you... then on top of that you are training it to attack humans when it feels threatened?? I tend to agree with your sentiments. I know many people who own pits because they want to say something about themselves by having some huge intimidating dog by their side. In fact, pits are banned in my city because of all the douches that cannot control them. IF you use this breed to show everyone how much of a badass you are, then you're stupid! I don't know if anyone here is doing that, but if you are, then you're stupid, simply put. Also, if you like pits, adopt one! Don't pay exorbitant prices for one when they're being put down every day. My brother adopted two loving pits and they're gentle, trained, and loving. He doesn't use them as a tool or a symbol of his lifestyle, he has them because he loves them and they would have otherwise died if he didn't adopt them. Just my two cents.

I have no problems with pitbulls at all. I love dogs more than people. It's the people who think that their dogs are so tough and mean. It's like, look how tough my dog is, so that makes me cool right? Training can create any dog into any type of behavior. Own a dog because you love them, not because you think people will love you for owning one.

The dogs are getting banned because too many irresponsible people run out and get one so they can look like a cool tough guy. They don't train the dogs, nor do they discipline the dogs. Then the dogs go crazy and the owner just doesn't understand why.
Last month people were attacked in their own house by their own pitt bulls. They ran out of the house leaving a baby inside. They called the cops who came and shot the dogs, luckily the baby wasn't harmed. Now the people are suing the cops for shooting their dogs. What stupid jackasses.
A man had to kill his neighbors pitt bull because his daughter was in their own yard playing and the dog came over and attacked. The girl jumped on top of a car so the dog couldn't get her.
Someone in our town left a pitt in the cage outside the dog pound. The guy that took care of the pound was mauled by the dog and almost died. He can't work anymore, it ruined his life.
A girl I knew went to pick her kid up at the babysitters and was mauled by their 2 pittbulls the moment they opened the door for her. She was a person the dogs knew and were friendly with, yet they fucked her up pretty bad, in front of her kid.
Dogs perceived boundries are not the same as peoples preceived boundries. Pitts were bred to hunt, kill, and never let go. They don't care what they have a hold of.
