You can get great results from a lot of nute brands out there, it's just a matter of using them correctly.

Tend to agree in the main with that, altho of course you can often feel more confident with a brand that specialises in cannabis specifically.

you'd be surprised to hear that miracle gro all purpose fertilizer (the horrible blue powder stuff) and B&Q Tomato plant food are working absolute wonders for my girls.

and as reggaerican says, if it aint broke don't fix it... I'll get some 'good nutes' some day :)

nutes are just 1 factor of a grow...its not like you can just use a "good" nute and expect good results..!

i agree with the if it aint broke dont fix it.....being comfortable and confident with ur nutes and setup has alot to do with ur sucess i believe.!

not necessarily 'good nutes', I know its down to several factors, but if you compare the NPK values of say 3 different veg brands they'll most likely have different values, and different/extra trace elements etc... though I suppose if it has a higher NPK it'll last longer cos you need to feed less... I wonder.

haha yeah true :) it's cause we're reading it and can think about it a bit more so little things seem more obvious.

anyways, back on topic! Can anyone recommend some good passive hydro nutes? I've heard Bio-bizz is good, idiotproof and what not.

this is a trip i have'nt been on this thread in months.. reason i stopped by was i was currious what has been said (not much) about your nutes..

im gonna be starting a thread with a pole going and when my current grow is done i am going to set up (2) 2x4 flood and drain tables and flower all the same strain under the same 1000w hps..

the kicker is in one tray i will be using supernatural and in the other.. well that is to be decided by everyones votes..
i am currently 3 weeks in on my single cola grow so plenty of time to get some good votes..

the thread will be done within 2 days

found this thread searching for supernatural... Yeah, its the best I have found. I have used Bio-Bizz (without great results), the AN sensi line, botanicare pro blend (bloom and calmag, no sweet).... I was searching for about 2-3years for the best ferts, then a buddy gave me a small tin of the bloom terra with his instructions. With the same clones I have gone from around a halflb per 600, to over a lb per 600, using less($$$) products....

I have dialed in my style more and more over the years, but the one thing that pushed me into next level was supernatural, with their bad looking packaging.

My schedule (in happyFrog soil) goes something like: feed just supernatural at 800-1000ppm (and a little PH up to get ph to 6 - with buffer mix solution and ph it 30min later, test it 30min later, if ph is 6 go ahead and feed em) one day, when dry feed AN sensi cal-mag (bloom), AN budCandy, hygrozyme, and bannanamanna (ph to 6.7), then when dry just water... that will be about a week, repeat and add a little more supernatural as crop progresses, but even with C02 at 1500 the highest I will go with supernatural is 11-1200ppm. and make sure you give it time to flush for a week or so... Oh and some liquidLight/penetrator once/wk the first few weeks and azamax a few times early on..

keeping my calmag and supernatural on different days helps keep the salts from forming, as well as making sure there is plenty of runnoff that gets discarded with every watering

whats your supernatural schedule...?
