nice work :-) ...... would love to know what temps are like
It has not gone above 80 , and the humidity is at 40% so im happy

I put some of the diamond back on last night , on the sides and on the door , and just a little across the back bottom ,

I did a shitty job of putting it on though lol

i still got to finish the back though , but the temps are hanging in their just fine my man

I have 2 little blue mystic seedlings in their right now , but i have a hommie thats gonna hmu with a few of his shit also , so i will be throwing them in also

Nice cab man! +rep!
I prefer having passive intake though. The negative pressure makes it a lot easier to control smell!

I agree , im just not to concerned with smell though ,

Dont get me wrong , i dont want my whole house smelling like it but that cab is gonna end up being out in my building anyway and i live pretty much in the middle of no where so i dont have to worry about neighbors and shit asking what that smell is lol

I have this plastic storage cab that im gonna make a grow cab out of ,

The space i will have to grow with is

31 " height -- 29" height-- 14'' deep ,

I dont like that it is only 14 deep , but well make it work

Lights -- 150w hps

So far i have cut out 2 holes for my exhaust fans , i have this reflective insulation shit that i will be using in place of mylar ,

My hps has a remote ballast which is no good for me in this cab , so i had to modify it ,

It did have just 1 long cord going from the ballast to the reflective hood which makes it hard for me to have the hps in without having the ballast in their with it , ( which i dont want )

So i cut the cord below the hood and put male and female plugs on it so it will be easier for me to work with ,

I Still have to get everything right and will update pics as the cab comes along ,

Any input and ideas are welcome

I took a pic of the cab , the reflective shit and where i cut the cord and put plugs on it

Lets make a kick ass cab out of this
hey bro hope u been well
see u going big now
make sure u seal it up good keep bugs out since u said it is going in a out building

but i like it looks badass :peace:

Ahh you dont have to worry about smell really till you get a plant over 2 ft with a huge amount of heads my monster little widow dont smell up my house not even the room the grow box is in. You can DIY a carbon scrubber to attach to the exhaust fans for when they are in late bud like last two weeks or so but keep that sucker in the house give yourself a break from things eating on your herb. Hope things are going well and those blues sprouted for you.

The temps and humidity in the cab are good ,

78 degrees , 42% humidity ,

I still have to put the last bit of that diamond sheet on the back but its not gonna make a big difference in temps though

Im just gonna stick with the hps my man

I have a 4 tube 24" t5 light but it wont fit in their ,

I could run a 24" double up and down the sides but im satisfied with how its doing though and i also dont want to have to deal with any extra heat issues that having more lights might cause me ya know

How about a small 10.0 UV-B tube? almost zero heat and it will boost your THC/CBD production through the roof :) .. I think also it maybe a bit crowded in there with 6, 4 would work alot better :) and 2 even better still, as you could grow less plants but bigger.. However if you do stick with 6 I am here for the ride and wanna see how you get along :) - STELTHY :leaf:

He'll be fine with double the amount of plants in there i did 12 in a smaller box with only CFL he's doing pretty much 12/12 from seed so with LST work he can keep and even canopy and focus on single cola plants and remove all bottom growth i pulled a half O off a single plant done 12/12 grown in MG soil and multiple plants per one gallon pot. If he sticks with one plant per pot and uses something better then mg and goes for single cola he can pull 1/2-2 oz off each plant if done correctly. It would however help if he got single 24 inch T5 to run daisy chained from top to bottom in each of the front corners just to get some blue spec in there or even some 6500K CFLs clamp work lights and y socket adapters so he could at least get some blue spec in there to slow and control stretch to help with LST training and achieving an even canopy thats the main thing he will have to work on also using stuff to place under the pots to raise smaller plants will help.

Brother goten if you put CFL's in there just get a 4-6inch fan that rotates so the fan is completely facing up put it under the cfls blowing over them and they will not raise or fuck with temp and any heat coming off them goes up and out of the box screw hooks work good to clamp onto that and zip ties but i do suggest getting some 6500K in there for at least the first two weeks then for sure when they start their stretch. The tighter the node in veg the tighter your plant will be in flower and your going for node count not height. Ive used fim method in my box worked like a charm in producing more tops and achieving tight nodes you could also use netting to keep your canopy even just realease after there stretch or right when they start but lst to keep the even canopy.

Endless things he can do soon him and I will be the micro box champions ahahahahahaha you guys will see just watch;-)

Im not having any stretch problems at all ;-)

I might try to rig up a way to put some cfl`s in their , i have plenty of em and Y splitters , but im no electrician and dont know how to wire it all up , plus i dont have the sockets for the Y splitters or he cfl`s to screw into ,

I have 1 pre wired socket with about an 6 or 8ft cord ,

Or i might just go to lowes and get 2 duel 24" fixtures and have 1 on each side , but i think it would be cheaper if i could get 4 light sockets and wire it up for the cfl`s , so 2 on each side with Y splitters would give me 8 cfl`s

I still need 1 more Y splitter though cuz i only have 3 of em ,

I also have a mogul socket that an hps bulb can fit in but i have no ballast for it

I have both 6500k and 2700k cfl` bulbs , like i said though , i dont know how to wire them up ,

I guess i need a thin piece of plywood to mount sockets on for the Y splitters , but like i said im no electrician

But as now its doing fine as is and i will try to add more light if need be when the time comes ,

But you all dont hate on my single 150w hps , you will be surprised what you can get from it , ;-)

Here is the cfl`s and Y splitters i have

Um a surge protector you just need a few outlet to socket adapters and some extra big zip ties then mount the surge protectors to the sides of the box you could run single bulbs maybe two per surge and see what it does to temp then just add accordingly but i can link you to the surge protectors i use and i can run 8 cfl up to like the 42w bulbs even larger ones up to 80w if u used a socket extension. Also the surge protector i use has switches on every outlet except on so it makes it easy to turn on and off bulbs. You epoxy the outlet to sockets to the surge and use wire to help support if needed but for 26w and under you dont need to do anything besides epoxy maybe ziptie when running y splitters.

But run the surge from the height your pots are to the top on the sides it will reduce your grow space by about 8 inches on both sides maybe 6 inches all depends if you mount the surge to a then strip of wood which i recommend.

I have a couple of power strips / surge protectors , but the cheap ones , 6 outlet only

As far as the other shit your talking about , im completely ignorant on the matter lol

But i will figure something out
