been growing over 10 years, and still find it funny that alot of newbys see 9 finger leaves and asume its a male and throw it away.lol... ive found that in veg a seed mom almost always has 9-11 finger leaves,, males seem to be 9 fingered too..so the fingers on a leaf can never determine sex..however, ever notice that once the original mother is replaced w/ a clone , the new clone mother never gets the 9 fingered leaves again most times 7..ive only had 1 plant in all my years that the clone mom still had 9 fingered leaves and by the 3rd clone mom it was 7 and never had 9 again..
im growing durban poison from dutch passion wright now and was expecting it to have thin long fingers as its a sativa land race,,on the contrary, the fingers are fat and almost black, dark, dark green.. arent most sativas suppose to have long thin fingers and a lighter green color than indica's?? also i know durban poison is a fast finish sativa but mine was done in 7 weeks!!! im also growing skunk#1 by seedsman and it has huge dark green leaves with fat fingers and the skunk should be sativa dominant but looking at mine it must be an indica dominant phenio..
Anyways has anyone else grown durban poison from dutch passion and if so, did it look more indica than sativa like mine?? Or do all durban poison plants suppose to look this way??
