Ok I have been very happy with the auto's have grown an seriously doubt I go back to photos. I don't believe people have to spend the bucks they do to grow good smoke and I want to show how I do it..

Seeds: Lost Coast Skunk from Humbolt Seeds
Sour Blues from Mephesto Genetics
Northern Lights from Royal Queens Seeds
Medium; Miracal-Grow Organic Choice Potting Soil
Miracal-Gro Perlite
Hi-Yeald Hydrated Lime
Hi-Yeild Mutrate of Potash
Home 5 gal air pot using Wal-Mart bags
2 1000s hp lights in a 9'x9'x9 room
all the soil is easily found at Loewes about $8 a bag

I soaked my beans for 24 hrs then did the paper towel thing for about 3 days. All six girls were over 4"long and had the first set of leaves. I put them in water soaked rock wool cubes and planted in the buckets.5 were out the nest morning. The last one showed her little head this afternoon sometimes....

My 3 Pinkies after I did some LST to em tonight. I believe they are at day 50ish. Not exactly sure. really didn't keep a good account of those girls. Was kinda busy with baseball testing. They are looking good 2 White Widows and one Amnesia.

Awesome awesome awesome! This just boosted my spirits on my first auto grow. I'm also running the critical, gsc and some vast and fast. I have personally seen 5oz come off autos and the effort and cost to get them there was very minimal.

Can I ask why you use fabirc bags inside buckets? Is it just for rigidity, or do you know something I should? About to switch from plastic air pots (look cool as fuck, bitch to water) to fabric smart pots, which are crazy cheap and do air pruning apparently just as well.

the bags are the air pots. you can go with just the bags but in a bucket you have a little reservoir for the runoff, this will feed your plant depending on how shallow or deep your lower holes. It's just a slight variation of the Hempy bucket. I have grow both ways and the air pots always out produce the solid pots..

27 days... Baseball has been keeping me very very busy. Chopped 3 ladies yesterday, 2 White Widow / Pinkie and 1 Amnesia / Pinkie. the Amnesia game me the color this time like the white Widow did last time. Go figure... Ya know but now that I think about it, I could have mixed up the labels on the first pinkie grow. I just may have been a little stoned but wft....

I planted the last Girl Scout Cookie bean I had and she came up all fucked up,single blade leaves, all retarded looking but I let her run thru it and she split herself like she was topped and is starting to bush out. With some LST she might bet pretty big..

The Northern Lights are starting to reach up a little. They are the last ones on each end..
The Lost Coast Skunk are showing flower but not as advanced as the Sour Blues are. Excuse the lighting, Grow light are on...





As for the 3 ladies mentioned earlier in the thread, they are just hanging around waiting to pass the taste and smoke test. I have a nice couple of buds from each on my U-verse box for the old rapid drying method. Here's the Amnesia before cut and after..

After I cut my White Widow /Pinkies it got a little crowded in there...

Screwed up a little posting pic, here is the one I didn't get it.. Big smo I'll bet ya I get at least 5oz per plant from those. I got nearly 8oz from my 1st grow a 2 Fast 2 Vast. was right at 6' tall! If I can't get at least 3 oz per, I don't grow it again.

That's my feelings, if it's not big enough it's better to leave it alone. What nutrients are you using? The yield totals are intense. My gsc and vast got me average of 3zips each but it was a first grow too. Got some good bud and some great bubble. I had issues which are common for new grows. Enough where I dumped 6k on a new room to make life easier.

I feed FloraNova Bloom 1 tsp per gal, Cal-Mag Plus 1/2 tsp per and Ph Down to 5.8when I a growing in coco as those were. The 7 new girls are in my Lowe's Organics Choice Potting soil.I did buy some Agrozyme for root development this run. I use it about every other watering. I am running well water which is pretty high in ph,7.8 so I use a lot of down. My next grow will be in coco and using RO water. Bought some Sensi Bloom A & B totry. I heard good thing about it. Been using the FloraNova for several years and love it, just looking to improve....

30 days.... A couple days ago I pretty much had decided I wasn't going to do the dirt again. Not really satisfied with the size of my girls. I kicked up the amount of feeding and water and BAM! Growth spurt. The Sour Blue are kickin ass and already thicking up with nice smell. The Norther Light are my tallest, maybe 22" - 24 ". The Lost Coast OG budding now. 1 NL and 1 LCOG wasn't acting too well they seem to be coming around with the extra amnt of food and water. I didn't want to over feed. I am used to my coco daily feeding.I will definitely do my Girl Scout Cookie run in my coco. The GSC I am doing in dirt is responding to the LST. I may be rushing my expectations for 30 days for these strains. I usually have bigger girls. Took a couple of shots with the light on and without...

Left Side... The 2 on the end are the ones I spoke of, LCOG and NL. You can really tell the difference in color from the other side. Same strains same food but different ballasts. 1000w. The one on the left is not as bright as the original Vertuial Sun vs Vivo Sun... The plants under the duller one are greener, much greener.... Go Figure.... Probably swap the light around for the next 30 and see what happens...

And for you "weight watchers" out there, my Amnesia x Pinkie produces a little over 7ozs and the 2 White Widow x Pinkie girls produced right at pound at 450 grams. I'll take that any day!

Now that I think about it I have een gettting a lot of foxtail and my buds arent as thick and meaty. Thinking I may be running my lights too tall.....Input please..

Wish I knew how old your girls were. I'm close to them in size but I think I'm day 35 or 40. Got off to a slow start and they are taking their time to catch up. The pic of the critical and gsc, did they look like the others at that time?

I didn't have any solo cups or jiffy pots which is what I usually use with a rapid rooter. This run I used small hydro pots and the tap root hit bottom before I could blink. When I took them out the root got a lil messed up. Since then it's been down hill. One feed at day 20 and day 21 it was like instant cal mag deficiency overnight. I fed again at day 23 just to give them more calmag and it's not gotten worse.


Then this next batch went in and I used the solo cups like I always do. Just cut the bottom and side and put it inside another. But when I took the cup out the whole bottom fell in the intact cup. My lucks been shit lately.

Last night I must have bumped my charcoal fan/filter or something it was set at 70 degrees but not fully plugged in. It's vented outside so this morning I woke up to chilly girls and an empty co2 bottle

Day 75... Sour Blues are kicking ass. Starting flushing these girls a few days ago.They are so damn small, though, I am going back to my trusty coco perlite again. Yall can keep the dirt.
