Knowing what plants do during flowering now lol, I can almost see what that's gonna be man, and as love as you keep making love to her, DAMN! You're gonna be pleased man!

haha thanks man. i have a feeling it will be just what i expect.
start with great genetics and take care of it the way they need to and let her do her thing.
i am very impressed with size and vigor tho.
going to start flowering tomorrow if i go much bigger i will be out of room. 2x2 foot box is filling up fast.

switched to flowering today will have lights off from 6am-6pm with lights on all night.
doing this because during warm days my house warms a bit and with it being about 60 outside my box stays at 80 which is 2 degrees warmer than when its 40 out.
being first flowering i have to dial in conditions very fast.
the one in the black bucket is throwing pistils everywhere blue one i am unsure of so far.

both plants ended up being female.:mrgreen:
transplanted both into larger buckets should have done it a few weeks ago but realized a 3 gallon was not gonna do it and have been lazy.
pretty impressed with roots from the black one.
the one in the black bucket has had 2 secondary branches super cropped to keep the canopy even.

it has been about 12 days since flip.
i would say about day 3 or 4 of actual flowering.
all these pics are from 4/20 have been busy as hell.
the tops are actually starting to look a bit like flower as compared to vigorous veg growth.
it has stretched so far about 4-5 inches in 12 days. i sorta hope they do not get much taller.
i have switched about about 5 of my 18 bulbs to 2700k bulbs. now half are 2700k and half 5000k.
have a total of 414 actual watts of cfl. will be leaving this for 2 weeks then adding 3 more 2700k til finish.
since the flip i have water 3 times once with dyna gro bloom once water and once dyna gro foliage pro.
will be watering either tomorrow or wednesday.

thanks alot the smaller one is getting overtaken will not do a month veg for more than one plant in my box.

Great posts. I'm getting ready to do my first "micro-indoor" with CFL. Waiting for auto fem seeds to arrive. What is the rule / topping 101? Do you top to keep the plant shorter and allow light to penetrate? At what height do you typically do that? As far as LST goes you are basically holding the plant "open" to allow more light in / keep a lower profile? Can you use your "topping" as a clone?

Looks like the plants are turning out very nicely :) Much more like my last grow.. Personally Im switching strains for next one, as the critical kush is way to sensitive and a slow grower ( and a heavy eater) .. been Looking at blue cheese or Something just easier overall to grow :P I got a few strains in mind :P I'm just glad we got a bomb seeds store here local with huge selections of strains... Yes and topping the plant keeps them overall shorter but bushy.. making for more bud locations and tops. Can also Do LST or a Scrog for added training afterwards :) to keep height down even more and bump up yeild

Auto's do not like to be topped. A normal plant top at first node to get 2 colas and above second node to get 4 colas.
any higher do not know what your results will be. Yes I lst to open plant up since cfl's have bad penetration.

looks like you are getting straightened out Mario nice choice of led. I am going induction lighting as soon as I make a bit and can throw around $500. I wish I could say I had seed bank near by.

I've been looking a lot into the induction lights as they are better then HPS and last as long as LEDS up to 100,000 hours .. And yeah everything seems to be getting straightened out, the plants love the LEDS.. my stocks are ridiculous for how small the plants are almost as thick as my last grow.. but using 3gal pots this time around also.. Ah it just all depends on location, seems 90% of the people order seeds online... I just so happen to live in a location with a seed bank/bong shop with 18 company's distributed through there so makes for huge verity!

Some plants just don't like to be topped, thats why some strains people will just top one to see how it takes.. if it works out well top the rest , then you know if it works for that genetic

I agree with topping he is doing an auto.
I know nothing about them but what I have read and any unneeded stress is a big no no.
i have topped every plant with success but have also read some strains do not. Maybe chronic or critical not sure off my stoner brain.

nice grow man, just read every page of your thread lol. I'm growing some sour as my second grow ever, also under CFLs... shes about a week or so into flower, 24ish inches tall with 19 total colas, but not bushy like yours. i wish i read up on LSTing earlier :(

sensi i kept retying my 4 main branches til they met the outside of the 3 gal pots.
then let them grow up from there. i super cropped anything that got ahead of the 4 mains.
sad part is tho i have 2 plant in a 2x2 space and the bigger of the 2 thinks its her box to herself and is just going crazy.
i have not counted tops cut 6 of the healthiest talest clones of each plant or else it would have no airflow and be to bushy for my setup.

rearranged the lights again today added 2 more 2700k cfl's up 21 bulbs 3 or 4 are 18w.
my total is around 450w.
watered again today with half tsp each of dynagro bloom and foliage pro per gallon.
took 3 gallons between the 2 with about 1.5 quarts of runoff.
the runoff goes to good use between my houseplants and my indoor garden.
will be looking into getting getting setup here shortly for aact and any other teas.
not that i dislike the dyna gro just would rather go organic and never worry about ph and overfeeding.

Top row is bigger of 2 plants.
will have more pics up tonight.
can see in th e bottom row how the bigger one has forced the small one to grow in the shape of the corner of my box. Both a really starting to flower. Bigger one is about 18 inches smaller about 15 inches.
