Lifespan of Citi 048-1212??

How many hours use can I expect out of the above COB? Driven at 80 watts. Actively cooled with CPU cooler.

The Citi data sheet has a continuous operation test of 1000 hours but I can't find info on usable lifespan.

if they last a minute they'll last 50000+ hours at >90% brightness.

so many people say different things but I trust with you say more than others lol. But. I seen ur reply I was shocked to find out how many hours do chip last

What if not 90% full power is it less or more time u get out tham

how are things coming buddy I just like to ask I hope you do not mind me replying on your thread I'm very interested in to find out because I have eight of the same chips that you have and I only run them at half the power that you are running them at I have hlg 240 1050 one driver five chips and a 1050 milliamp 13 chips 120 120watt , inventronics the 240 is a mean well

Rush still have a 2:40 backups 1750 and another 185 1400mah. Meanwell.

You will probably replace them before 5 yrs is up due to cheaper and better COBs.

upgrading at just the right time is being frugal also. If in 3-5 years, efficiency and output go up 15% or more, time to upgrade! Save money on the ever rising cost of electricity
