I wonder what percentage of the market even knows to ask these questions. I think it will be a while before the average small-scale buyer gets beyond comparing who has the coolest looking light, the best looking website, and makes the most impressive claims.
I'd like to see Tastyled and Pacific Light Concepts (et. al.) impact if their websites showed up higher in search engine responses -- in other words, if someone searched for "LED grow lights" or "COB LED grow lights", and a real builders website was alongside the makers with big marketing budgets. I imagine that once potential buyers eyes are open to the world of individual parts quality, that would change the playing field. I'd love to see it become the industry standard. Eventually not listing your components would be like a PC maker not listing what processor they are using.
