Light bleaching?

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg So im pretty sure ive got some light bleaching happenin. What do ya think?

This is on my Cotton Candy plant ive got. Must have let it get too close too my LED light. Is there anything i can do to help it out? I raised my light up, weird how the one next to it didnt get any damage. I know light bleaching will lower thc will it do anything else? Thanks

Yep.
It just burns a certain part. It will not be as effective but it's usually only a small portion that gets the bleaching.

Yup, Ive had it happen 8-10" from led light. I caught it fast, but a couple of cola tops were bleached:fire: Buds seemed to smoke ok though:eyesmoke: I try measure height during flower stretch, in order to keep led's at 12" over tops:weed:.

Personally i Didnt see Any bleaching. Couldve been the light, but it also didnt have typical altered growth structure it gets from excess light.
But its actually not necessarily bad, i purposely light bleach some of my strains

Whats the typical altered growth structure from light bleaching? Its hard to tell in the pics but im pretty sure the top bud where it happened started to foxtail and it also hermied. The hermie could have been genetics because my last one hermied as well

It wont cause fox tailing but a greater difference in night and day temps can, which could have happened from the light being close. The leaves will get thicker, wider . I used to have a perfect picture

Yeah i will keep that 12" rule in mind from now on! I thought it was just an explosive development of white pistils at first :wall: or would have caught it faster. Atleast my others are fine! Thanks

Ok thanks good to know, I dont think that happened to any of my leaves that ive noticed

Very sexy colas <3 Light bleaching should not be a big deal. Sell It as albino and double the price. :)
