Light burn or nute burn?

First time grower here. Heres my setup. Heavyweight fast and vast from herbies. Jolly gardener potting soil with plant food. Cfl grow in a mylar lined grow tent. About two and a half weeks old at this point. The leaves started getting brown spots today that then turned kind of yellow. It has slowly gotten worse. I have since raised the lights from 2-3 inches to about 6 and turned some of them off just to be safe until I diagnose my problem.

Also there are some on another leaf not pictured and they are all in the middle of that leaf. I've heard nute burn usually starts on the edge but I'm not sure Also I have another strain using the same soil and setup in the same tent which is not suffering the same symptoms.

if you havnt fed her then i would think some water got on the leaves and light burned her, water droplets act like magnified glass and arc light to a single point, kinda like burning ants with a magnified glass

what ever it is i dont think its lack of or over fert looks like vry mild heat stress or vry mild light bleach but it aint on top so prob water droplets causing intenseified light marks .so i agree with screed .

those spots will appear to get worse for a little while but that is the rest of the leaf growing stretching out the burn spots

It's way to early to begin to worry about the condition of "starter" leaves!

Ignore that and see what happens when you start feeding.....throw some well crushed egg shell on the soil before you start feeding.....give your available Ca a shot in the arm....er ah....roots.....

As of this morning it has started to spread to higher leaves. I will attempt to change the soil and find a ph kit somewhere locally.
