Light burn?

Hi everyone!, I have been growing since many years and for a time I was great at it, I moved from the south (Argentina) to Colombia. I am trying to grow again but my plants keep yellowing, … even when they are as young as seedlings. I grow in coco and use general hydroponic’s Maxigro. I have a 150W viparspectra LED about 30 inches from the seedling, I used to use sodium lights, this is my first LED light ever. I have an air conditioning unit running all the time the light is on… so humidity and temps are under control for most of the day.
Thia is a small DWC, PH is under control and so is PPM. There is a stone blowing lots of bubbles below the pot (2” or 5 cm).
I think initially the light was too far so I moved it closer and that’s when problems began. But I have been very high and I don’t remember that clearly.
I’d like to be sure if what causes this problem and work on a solution.
All and any help is appreciated!.
Thanks!.

Are you making sure to follow VPD guidelines? LED lights don’t heat the leaf surface unless there are red diodes intermixed into the board, but even then the plant could be host to a myriad of issues if not following VPD chart while growing with LED. Not saying this is your issue. I don’t know anything about coco growing, but I would suggest feeding seedlings when they’re this small is a really bad idea unless I’m missing something

A plant that small requires very little light, nutes, or anything else. Maybe you are doing too much.
Thank you!, I think you may be right… too much of something. I bet it’s the light since it is the only thing I cannot currently measure.

Thanks!, VDP is a new concept to me; I started reading about it after I read your post.
This LED light does have a few red diodes; I moved the seedling as far from the light as possible without raising the panel. I will give it a few days and see what happens.

Good afternoon everyone,,
I moved the plant further away from the light and that was it, it's looking way way healthier. I will post a picture later on!.
Thank you all for taking the time to respond to this thread. Great community!.

He's in coco.. not sure why the straw is on there.. coco doesn't need a mulch layer
Hey!, yeah I cannot find "grinded" coco around here where I live. What you see in the picture is dry and raw coco coir... It's about the same thing but comes in "straws" or fibers...

So is the long fiber kind good for horticalture. Some where ive read to becareful of certian coco because of its salt content..

Yes, I read that too. I soaked the whole mass on PHd water for a while before I planted anything on it. I used what I needed and the rest just dried under the sun and stored it.
