Light Cycle for Seedlings ??

21 hour Light Cycle for seedlings is best Yes? No, if no whats best suggestion?

Speaking of I have seen a few growers here using these lights that look like cork screws... any idea what those are ?

i don't really know but ive got mine on 18/6 and they are going hard.

Those lights are CFLs just google it lol

Plants grow in the dark also, 18/6 imo.

I have changed to 16/8 light cycle to try save some power... 4 out of 5 seedlings sprouted now so we shall see how it goes... how far should the light be from the seedlings? height wise. ATM its about 1/2 a meter above..

depends on the lighting, but with you not knowing what a CFL was, im assuming you are growing with an HPS or MH light, i think around 8-10 inches.. dont quote me though=\

plants grow faster when there is darkness into the light schedule, but dont go 12/12 until time to flower.
