Light cycle to show sex?

Currently on 18/6 and I really need to transplant but need to sex them first as I started more than I plan to grow or have space for.

They are 3.5 weeks old from seed and are in 4" pots.

Would going to 16/8 speed up showing their sex? Or 14/10 or something that isn't quite "flower mode" so they can keep vegging once I weed out the males?

I'm half tempted to just go 12/12 now and cut clones once they show, but was hoping to clone before I go to flower, and wouldn't mind them growing some larger branches to cut as clones(veg for a few more weeks).

Maybe look closer, they should be showing preflowers.. I rarely have plants that don't show sex by 4 weeks. I have a 2 week plant that has preflowers on it right now. They usually start up on the newest nodes, closest to the top..

4 inch pot is small. if you flick to them to 12/12 you can maybe see within 5 days under a little magnification, but they are gonna stretchhhhhhhhhhh

If you can take a clone from each of them right now, put the clone in 12/12 as soon as you take it. Veg your mother/father plants another few weeks while you wait on the clones to show their sex. Then divide and conquer as per your plans. Or you can try to cram them all in 12/12 and typically your males will show first, and relatively fast.

And like sine said, those 4" pots are way too small for month old plants in my opinion. I start my seeds in 4" pots, but they only stay in them long enough for a set or two of leaves to grow.

I checked for any sex and they all pretty much look the same so it's probably too early to tell.

That's the only one I really want to be female as it grows 3 branches at each node.

I have another one(attached below) so I'm hoping for a female out of one of them, also 3rd one split like it was topped without being topped, seems to be genetic.

The one that split:

triploid plants are not actually ideal, and have a high risk for the fatal stem flattening trait. had a sensi star that grew in thispattern. polyploids (more than 3 branches per node) have been documented to yeild higher then biploids (normal) or triploids.

these have been egging for 2.5 weeks under 24/0 some even have pistils already. These are not autos ether.
