Hey roll it up !! I haven't been able to log into site what's up with that ! ? Anyways I wanna light dep this season , last years full season was just to much work at once !! I wanna stager out harvest this year and light dep so questions to be discussed on thread
* automated light dep build designs or can I position green house correctly and build half wall to block sun , turn off for light deep for me is being tied to location everyday no matter what !
* heat for green house lightdep if I wanna start early I need to provide heat I live in northern Midwest any suggestions on pellet wood stoves or kerosene heaters ?
* how much lighting should I add to start of season , when say this I mean should I throw a 1000watt light over 8 ft of canopy ? What's your thoughts

Shoot that's not a bad idea but I probably can't afford acreage out there lol my property now would probably be half an island out there , do you light dep though ?

Yeah i have a couple 10foot by 10foot movable pop up tents and i put black plastic on the sides and top to deprive them of light so i can make them flower sooner and it gets about 49 deredegrees at night so it keeps some heat in aswell
12 foot+ plants Are alot of work come harvest

Havent used light because i live off grid solar panles and batteries and a year ago a guy got poped 50 miled from me with lights on 300 plants at night

Well I don't know if it would be easier to do a hoop house or I'm thinking now 2/4 studs plastic on inside and out side of studs would make for better insulation could blow air in through walls

I'm thinking that I'm going to have to place gears in in position with a chain to drive gear welded on threaded pipe it will have to be same circumference so chain doesn't slip and better ideas out there

Does anyone have lightdep kit ? Could help out thinking straight shaft drives would be best scratch chain

Ok well I was thinking of doing helical beveled spur gears to drive light dep but I seen awhere guys are using D.C. Motors attached to pipes and motor sits on a guide that runs up the frame this is the route I'm going to at the moment is should be cheaper

I was looking at name plate on motor and there's actually the phone number on there so I will call tomorrow and get prices also I'll post on here if anyone want to build with me
