Hello,
We are currently into week 8 on our light dep. and suddenly experiencing some mold issues. My partner said we should stop covering all together and let them finish out on the natural light schedule for this area, located in northern CA. We are growing chemdawg 4, this strain is usually about 9-10 weeks. I would say we could be finished in another week or 2 at the most. If we decide to stop light deprivation at this point will it harm or decrease flower formation in anyway. We have been told that many other people have done this and it shouldn't affect anything being so late into the grow. Im still very cautious and would appreciate anyones advice who has direct experience or knows someone who does. Thanks

the only problem is we are in an intense heat wave here, reaching between 105- 110 for 8 days. We are on generators and our fans can only do so much, it's still 100 out until 9:00. We are thinking sense they are so far along and developed that if we just let them go for another week what's the most that could happen in that time? I don't think it's possible for them to revert this late, I don't really know for sure. My friend said he had done this with no problems. We could always just harvest if we see any warning signs.
