i agree CN that could be the problem also do you pH your water?
I'm not particularly worried about the water's pH. Soil, especially fresh soil, has pretty good buffering capacity. But sodium is a pesky ion. I am sort of guessing that that might be a part of the problem. cn

I been using bottled drinking water or filtered water.
Water prepped for bottling by Reverse Osmosis (RO) will give you a salt buildup problem as that is how it is reversed. It says on the bottle if it has undergone RO. Use plain tap water. Boil it and leave overnight to oxygenate if you are concerned about chlorine. 8)

I disagree. RO water typically has 0 ppm. RO splits water into two streams, "good" and "waste". Any ions go bye-bye into the waste stream. RO is ideal. cn

well i hoped everthing get unfucked for you buddy but i think CN is on the right path with this one ive exp. similar problems with plants i was using baking soda as a pH down (this creates sodium in that water) and well i got 2 plants right not that look very similar to yours stunted and fucked up even though i swithed the soil thye are recovering since i bagan to ad DOL. lime to the soil instead of boaking soda.

See my post above about processed water if you guys are concerned about sodium buildup.
salt does not boil out nor does boiling remove chloramines or all of the chlorine. off gassing and water agitation can be achieved in the same amount just stirring the water with a stick.

I answered your post. I use RO water routinely. Your claim does not match what I know about RO. I think you either misunderstand how RO works, or you had a bad experience with a faulty unit. cn

lmao your a trip fab. hey guy just use some distilled water for about a week and then post a new pic for us to see if there is any improvement. if there isnt then i would say the roots were badly damaged and thats why you got a free plant.
