Light leaks with autoflowers?

Hello. I've been growing photo period plants for a few years already, but because of security concerns had to shut down my setup. I figured I'd give a couple auto's a try, so I am running some in my office. My question is, do light leaks during veg or flower bother these girls?

I'll be figuring it out on my own eventually, but would appreciate the feedback from those with experience with autoflower.

Thank you.

No that's why they are called AUTOFLOWERS. They don't even need no darkness at all or very minimum
Yeah, I understand the concept. It's hard to get out of that mindset though. How's the strength on them, comparable to regular strains? I'm running sensi seeds and canuk seeds.

Autos nowadays are pretty strong almost like regulars or even surpassing on potency nowadays., But they are just a few., And like someone sed if u really like it there is no cloning., Or keeping moms. Not my thing., Good thing about them is that u can veg photos and flower some autos at the same time, and also u can flower photos and flower autos, also u can keep moms and flower autos., All that in the same room for each situation.

Well I had one AK-48 AUTO from nirvana and it was growing along side with one THC bomb(10 weeks into flowering) in the tent, the timer was set on 12/12 and the AK-48 auto grew like crazy. And when it was time to harvest the THC bomb I decided to turn the light off for 24 hours before harvesting and i just put the AK-48 in my bedroom(which had the lights on all the time),it didn't show any kind of disturbance or anything like that, still happy and green. So I don't think you should worry about it too much man. Autos are awesome in this way!

Old thread, but I'm having a hard time finding a complete THC Bomb grow journal and I've just ordered some fem seeds. How was the grow with the Bomb?

not at all. if you wanted to you could run the lights 24-0 and they will still flower. in fact some of my best grows from autos had a light cycle of 18-6 from seedling to harvest.

Yeah, I've learnt that some autos are either going to not flip on their own, or just take way too long and have to be manually flipped anyways.

Just like this auto......

You can tell it's got good afghani genes, but needed to be manually flipped to flower. It's a really nice looking plant though.

Yeah, i finally started to flower it at 12/12 about 4 weeks ago. Shortly after my last photo I uploaded. It seemed stuck in preflower and I was tired of waiting.

I had my power go out while I was at work last year. If the electric companies updates were correct, it was out for about 4.5 hours. I had three autos running at the time. One of them, Magic Cookies (RocBud Inc) hermied really bad. They were on 24/0 lighting so that was (darkness) something completely new to them.

Not sure if the hermie had anything to do with that, but I can say I've never had any other autos hermie on me before.

Run autos 24x7, light leaks dont matter. An auto from dropped seed 2 yrs back. My back yard has neighbours spotlight glowing all night, believe its halide. Neighbours light on all season.pic mid to late july.20210903_184946.jpg
