Light LST

Hey everyone, just been observing my grow the past few days and notice something I'd like to get your takes on. I have a CFL lamp parallel to my Papaya as well as one directly above her. After 2 days I realized that she started growing sideways towards the parallel lamp. So, after all this rambling..Do you fellows think that you could get the same effect from this as you would from LSTing? All input is welcome, this is just a theory.

P.S.
Realizing this is probably bad for the plant I straightened her, this is just merely a conversational piece, so please don't jump all over me.

Its fine for it to grow like that theres peope who grow vertical, its a bit weird but Ive seen huge grows with gordan what ever they are rockwool slabs and trays and plan grows side ways, directly to the vertical light..

Now from what you describe it looks as if your plant like the side light better so might be worth swapping the over...

I usually run 6-8 500w with a good few T8 56w flourescents going around the side walls and it does exactly as I want which is make side branches grow out and huge..

I also practice LST but I would more call mi HCST Hardcore stress training lol as I bend and snap...Since ive moved grow to smaller place Im only able to run 4x 600watt max and no room for the flourescent but by bending/breaking arms its creates the same effect, the branch grows out and then up and up as in bigger then the main stem cola, and I mean like the lowest node branch all the way up does it..

I also super crop,bend/break maing stem which aso creates amazing big buds..

Practice this on a sativa dom like the blue cheese and you get real good results..

If I were you Id really consider a 250w hps or even a 125 as your going to get mainly popcorn buds with cfl from what Ive read,I suppose its better then nothing but common your putting 3-4 month work in here so id seriously consider getting a hps, 1x 600w will hardle make a difference on electric and it will give you huge result in comparisment to what your using now,I guess it all boils down to the room you have..

You have no idea how much I'd like to own an HPS but due to space constraints i have to veg under my sink and flower in a tiny closet! cheap grow, but pretty good set up and yield. I'll set up pics when I get access to a camera. I'm also very interested in supercropping, care to share some knowledge, or a link to a good write up? Cheers!
