Light problems

Well I am currently in my 4th week of flowering. And all was going good. Until Last night, when my digital ballast quit working. I had 3 girls under it and an additional 150w hps fixture. The ballast was for the 400 watt hps and now that its crapped out, I am for the most part done. I have 2 smaller clones that are now relying on sharing 150 watts between the two of them and the mother plant had to be carried away to a not so near by friends house...Needless to say at 54 inches tall she wouldnt fit in my work van standing up. So along the journey, I lost one lower branch, no big deal really. But more importantly, I dont get to see her finish. And the clones, well, due to my enviroment they are around 36 inches tall and about as stretched as they could be. My first grow is rapidly going down the shitter and Im not a fan of it. :s

So I guess my question would be, (even though I think I know the answer), will the 150watt hps be okay over the two clones ?? Unfortunately I have no other options.

Luckily the good people at HIDHUT are going to replace the defective part, but like I said, only 4 weeks left. Cant ship back bad one til thursday at the earliest and if i get it back in two weeks, hell times almost up . Week 5 starts on Saturday :s

You gotta do what you gotta do. That 150 hps will have to be your hero now. My wife wonders why I would keep an extra setup (I bought used for little cash) on the shelf. This is exactly why. I feel your pain, bad sequence of events. Having to send away mom was probably hard too. Good luck with your grow. All is not lost.

Silly question here. WTF do you need a 54 inch tall mother plant for?

lmao...well she was a temp mom...i was gonna ax her down too...lol. Yeah long story, but she got out of control at change over...first grow so i thought i had plenty of room to flower at 24", but i was wrong...lol...me being a new grower and all...i've learned now that im not going over 18 inches anymore ;o)

thanks, it was hard, but like you say, not all is lost...the Great people at HID HUT are going to send me a brand new ballast since she was only 3 months old. So hopefully it doesnt take too long to get it. Hope the lack of light does not mess the other two up too bad. Now just a waiting game....again. :s
