Light Question - Blacklights..?

Okay. This is something I heard a few years back when I first began to smoke; My friends said that if I ever wanted to grow to use BlackLights, Do blacklights actually work? Could I Actually Successfully grow a plant with blacklights??

No, i've heard many people say UV lights are the best thing to grow weed with, usually the people who instantly become experts at something when you have a conversation with them despite not knowing what the hell they are talking about. Sadly some of the people i've heard to say this were over 14 years of age as well :sad:

because they cost money..seriously. i just watch vids. but when u started were you a genius? no offence. but my friend actually uses a 1 foot black light to grow his but when its time to bud he just sells em for 250 a piece

im not so sure bout that.... i never heard of black lights being used and are u sure bout that or is this what he tells u

Blacklights will NOT grow a MJ plant to a healthy harvest, its not possible with such a narrow spectrum of light.

exactly to a "healthy harvest" he just grew em and sold them to a friend of mine that grows and sells. he doesnt know the diff he just stupid

when i was doing my aerogarden grow I added a blacklight to the side of it, and didn't really see any results. I heard that UV creates more resin but have not seen any documentation to back it up.

Blacklights do admit uv rays. 3-4 lamps per 4 sq. feet should give them enough fuel.. but for best results always use standard uv bulbs. it draws out more thc
