Light question

I know the light draws 300 watts that’s not even what I was even wondering. ts and tl are the models and the 1000 2000 and 3000 are the watts the leds are equivalent to. The 1000 is a 100 watt that pulls the same amount as a thousand watt without needing a thousand and the two thousand is a two thousand and so on. Right here’s a 600 watt and thousand watt. Actual watts no but same power as yes. I just wondered if it drawed together side by side or if the par is off by a hundred on the side with less.

No the only thing that matters is actual draw.

You'll see shitty lights say they are equivalent to a much higher number. It's false advertising IMO because that number doesn't matter.

That's not how lights work at all. You'd be well advised to do more research. Otherwise you're going to struggle with your grow and continue to wonder why. Good luck.

600, 1000 and 2000 watt hps lamps require the ballast boxes cause they would blow every breaker in the house and electric would slam a cost. but leds now make converting that in 2000 watts or 3000 with a single 200 wat 120 or 240 plug in. 500 plus 3 in one chips. I’ve done the homework and I like full spectrum cause I can see my ladies better. I know how much the power draw is I just needed to know how much they pulled side by side. Either 500 total or 200 on one side and 300 on the other . Common sense knows
you are LOST !!! WAY LOST

Either way , after you get done reading , you'll find that one is 200 and the other is 300 .....thats how its going to spread. one side of the tent gets 200 and the other gets 300....

Now its time to get started on reading ....a lot.

If i were you , i would go grab an hps 1k. seriously. that will make life so much easier for you to understand. you can probably get away with a 600watt hps. im dead serious

I use full spectrum lighting. I’m planning on getting the barrina bu-2000. I was going to buy the spider farmers 2000 but there dimmable switch is a headache.

They still use there same numbers on there new stuff before far red was even added. They haven’t updated there numbers for years.
So what do you think would happen if you used 5k of hps in your setup ? Are you trying to meet the equivalent of 5k of hps?

The general rule is about 50 watts of led to replace 100 watts of HID. That number varies greatly.

I add the numbers off there boxes. I use a iplantop 1500 w for seedling and it only pulls 150 watts but says it’s 240 300 max. Still a good light though.

No I don’t want the numbers just the extra par on my corners to push the Mars hydro a little more. I gained four ounces from my last harvest and wanted to add a second light beside it to help push my par number up by a couple hundred. It seemed like it stressed my buds to grow where they almost mannered up with the single light

Sounds like you've got it figured out then. Good luck.

According to Mars Hydro website the TS3000 is a 450 watt light that compares to a 600w HPS, the TSW2000 is a 300 watt they say will flower 3x3, if I remember correctly that is somewhere in between the coverage of a 250w and a 400w HPS . . . so both lights together may be close to a 1000w HPS

I just don’t know if I should just buy another light that’s the same and daisy up or get one with more leds on the panel. I’m thinking bout getting three of the barrinas and laying them side by side folded. Looks pretty bad ass
Oh yeah that thing will kick ass. Grow some fire with those things.

No, those 1000, 2000 and 3000 numbers are marketing bullshit that most Chinese sellers are famous for!

Equivalent watts is the equivalent wattage to incandescent light bulbs and it's totally irrelevant since incandescent is never used for growing!

Quit trying to compare...its not working for you...just listen to the advice you are givin and you cant go wrong. The ts3000 is a 450 w light period. In MY experience , 450w of good diodes =900 watts of hps. (if the spread is ok)

You want 25-40 watts a sq/ft. So thwe ts3000 should cover a 4x4 and 2 of those shuold cover a 4x8. (900watts /32 sq/ft= 28 watts a sq/ft.) Thats plenty.
