light question

Hey all, i will be hooking up my 400w Mh and i was wondering how far to hang the lights from my plants. They are still small because i started with cfl's but i hope they wont be for long. btw the area is like a 2x3.

I'd start the 400w 12-18" away and move it a little closer every day watching for any signs of damage. You want to check on them every 10-15 minutes when you first move the light and if you see any wilting (or other sign of heat damage) move the light further away.
