Light Question!

Alright, So in order to get my first grows plants sprouting, i want to start the grow indoors, only until the seed sprouts a little. I've already germed some seeds, and planted two in 2 cups full of potting soil. I was wondering if i were to use my light, which has 2-150watt T-3 Halogen Bulbs, if it would work to get the plants to sprout.
Lemme know. I'll be planting them outside once they sprout.

So i can just leave the little babies in the window of my room for the time being?

I like to keep mine in a dark warm place untill they sprout
