hay guys i finally got my 4 foot 6400K light set up on a timer and im wondering how far away from my babies does she need to be....i didd the back of the hand test they arnt getting hurt how they are but i wana measure them out just to be sure

im assuming youre using t5 or t8, get those things as close to your girls without touching em, youll have to move them up often but the lumen loss can be exponential as you move farther away from the light

yep exactly, if youre vegging big under t5 youll want to trim some undergrowth and possibly lst depending on the strain and if youre topping or not

Close as you can... But a laser temp meter is unbeatable in the ganja garden of today... At the least, be mindful of canopy temps, even with CFL's, and mabye invest in a small, cheap outdoor type thermometer, and a humidity gauge or meter never hurt to have arond the grow room, as well...
