Thinking of investing in a couple of lightrails and wondering what everyones opinions are. So far I know to go for selfdriven over chain driven. I also kniw to go for the ones that stop at the edges..I would like any info you guys can give me as well as side by side comparisons to stationary lights if you know of any. Thanks in advance.

I came awfully close to buying a light mover and a 1000w when I was setting up a new room....right up until I saw my friend's similar setup. He was experiencing serious stretching problems with what should have been a very squatty kush thread. I opted for two 600's instead. Just FYI.

I've got a Light Rail 3.5 as well and am probably getting a 5.0 for a large hood I'm building. At least doubled my production, I built my grow cage specifically for a 600 watt light: 8'x3', 25 watts/sq' for flowering, I had been getting about 6 gallons of cured bud per continuous grow cycle but that's going up now with some root zone work. Anywhere from 40 grams to 110 grams per liter, I've only weighed samples.

Highly recomended, but design your garden in a rectangle, not a square. Or triangle.
