Light set up

Hi everybody, I need a little advice on lighting.

I have a 4.5' X 4.5' hydrohut and one 4 lampT5 and one 8 lamp T5. I grow in soil and my last grow was Blueberry from Joey Weed.

It is the same set up and plants as in the following pictures:

You will notice I have moved the smaller plants to the outside and the larger to the middle. The HID is a 250 watt metal halide.

My yield was 3/4 oz per plant last time with 8 plants ( I have 16 in the pictures ).

My questions are thus:

Would I benifit from replacing the 250 W metal halide with a cooled 600 W HPS?

What is the optimum number of plants for max yield in this size hut?

Blueberry is not known for its yield, what bean is?

air cooled 600w is an upgrade for sure. optimal plant # depends on how tall you want to grow them. with your setup I would try more smaller plants and scrog if youre up for the extra work

Thanks for the advice.

live in a state that charges with intent to deliver if you have over 4 plants, I know SOG yields more but I was hopeing to up the light and lower the number of plants.
