Light setting/height of a sf2000 in a 2x4

Hey hey,

Been awhile since I've posted, I moved away for work and went dormant lol

Anyhow, I've gone indoors this time and now I'm running a 2x4 tent with a sf2000 I'm curious as to what height I should run the light and how bright I should have the light too, atm I'm the height is approx 500mm from the top of my pots at about 50% brightness.

Thanks for your inputs ;-)

500 mm is 19.5" which should be a good light - canopy distance for the SF2000 at full power during flower. And that is 19" above the plant canopy and not the tops of your pots.

Is your tent 2' x 4' x 6' ?

Yes close enough to 6' H, and what would you suggest settings/height for seedlings? (Think I forgot to point out that it was seedlings specific hah thanks for your input though

Yup ... I think you did negate to include that fact. So to germinate seeds - I recommend a minimum of 36" and 50% power. Seeds don't need the full 200W to get going.

How many beans are you planning to pop?

Yea right, that's pretty high, ok I'll have to go back and make some adjustments. Atm I'm only planning on running two, I don't yet have enough space to go for more. 2 is manageable in my current suitation, planning on moving them eventually into 20L (I think that's about 5gal) pots. (From my research I've done that's about the maximum I will be able to go but correct me if I'm wrong)

No corrections needed. That's a good call. Don't overcrowd your small foot print. With the 5 gallon buckets, 2 plants is good.

And with some LST to spread them outwards and open up lots of bud sites, those 2 plants can produce 3/4 to 1 lb. each harvest. I've been doing that for four years now.

Yea wicked that's bascially exactly what I'm chasing. I thought I was on the mark, just new to the indoor setup, I've still got a few kinks to work out but I should have it hopefully all smoothed out by next week
