i am using CFL lights on a 24 hour light cycle. my two girls have been on this cycle since february and they are now between 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall. i am pretty damn sure i need to switch my light cycle now, should i switch it to 18/6 or to 12/12? time is not of importance, i dont mind how long/short it takes for them to complete. also, when i switch the cycle, should i switch the light bulbs/get additional ones? each plant has one light at the moment. please help :joint::hump:

Nice plants!! i would put them on 12/12. looks like you are going to have monsters! you should make their dark time during the hottest part of the day.

any help would be appreciated, also isnt it funny how different the two plants are? one is christmas-tree like, full of leaves, the other has less leaves but is much bushier and has longer leaves

Your plants have been on a veg cycle since February? Damn.... you have the patience of a saint. It almost killed me to wait 7 weeks to switch mine to 12/12.

Nice looking plants.... you do realize they may double or triple in size during the flowering phase right? You might want to start tying them over (slowly... little by little so the stems don't break).

and i would tie them by getting the fan leaves out of the way with a twisty tie, right?

Hmmm... I think a twisty tie might cut into the stem... plus you are gonna need something with some length to it. How about some yarn maybe??? Just remember... go slowly.... don't try to bend 90 degrees in one day or you will damage her.
