lighter theives

I have never stolen a lighter in my life.

There are a few guys that I know that are lighter kleptos so I take a "lighter deposit" from them when they show up - that way if they steal mine, I still have theirs.

Recently I have been smoking with a soldering iron / zippo candle lighter - neither of which would be easy to steal.

Haha! Lighter deposit. That's a good one.

I stole my first one off my mate the other week...its just a natural reflex sticking it in yer pocket when you've finished with it isn't it? - its empty now (it was nearly empty when I was using it at his) - not an expensive one, but I'll probably fill it and give it him back anyways (hell - butane gas from poundland, not losing much filling it!)

I always end up stealing lighters. If I know who it belongs to I'll return it, but most of the time I just end up keeping it. I bought a lighter from my local headshop that says "My fucking lighter" So every thirty seconds I'm yellin at my friends to give me back my fucking lighter.

Yeah it happens a lot in my circle. We just stay on top of each other to make sure we get it back. Almost like a game and you don't want to be the person getting got.
