Hey everyone. Just wanted to throw up a few pictures of my new grow tent from Amazon. Lighthouse Hydro brand 2'x4'x5' high. Price was $104 with free shipping. Anyone looking for a budget tent might want to check it out, it looks to be of decent quality.
HPIM5193.jpgTop bars for hanging lights are all metal, no plastic clips. 2 of them 2 feet long, 1 four feet long that wasn't even listed. HPIM5195.jpgClearly marked for easy assembly. Took about 10-15 minutes to put together myself.HPIM5204.jpgTop view of tent. 4, 6" vents. 2 on top, and 2 high on each side, with cinch strings and velcro secured covers on outside. HPIM5202.jpg2, 4" vents on bottom, along with a back screened opening with flap, and 1 on each side. Above each side flap is a storage pocket.HPIM5197.jpg All zippers are covered, and the bottom zippers have a flap on the inside as well as the outside.HPIM5205.jpg Screened side opening. I will have to add some velcro to them, as they leak just a tiny bit. Other than that tent is very leak free. A few pictures of the stitching and zippers. Nice. I just bought the Lighthouse 76x76x76 for $169 to be my veg room, this will gave me about 25% more space. I have not put mine up yet. Does yours have a window, I like that feature & the fact it has metal top corner pieces. I am going to hang a big filter in mine from the top.

This looks like myne but not sure which brand I have.

Be careful the bottom floor isn't waterproof like they say it is. I had to get a custom made zinc tray made up.

This is very provocative....how does one go about doing this?

I have thought of a thicker plastic sheeting might be wise, but this will
still have the potential of being pierced.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey I just measured it up and rang my local sheet metal worker and he had it made up in 2 days looks great and its 100% waterproof. Cost me about $50 AUD from memory.

Cheers

LOL, sheet metal worker.....you speak in strange tongue.....this skill
is about as prevalent as Animal Husbandry these days.

I am keeping my eyes open, starting now. I am sure that they still exist.

Thanks for taking the time.

I bent up a tray for mine. whipped it out in a few minutes in the shop. But I still use trays under my pots.

@java dog try looking up people who weld.
Look on line for you local metal supply house, they will sell you the material and point you toward your welder.

Will do. Thanks!

Another improvement that I am thinking of making is a platform for my tent.

I have 2' of wasted vertical height over my tent.

I am going to take 18" of that give it to a platform that the tent will sit on.
This will allow me to duct away, to vessels down below, any run-off.

Take care,

JD
