I usually role a tight, non-running, smokable blunt. i usually know how to get a nice lit cherry but sometimes the cherry is not visible and is covered by ash. How do i light a blunt properly? Do i have to light a larger portion of the tip ?

any suggestions would be cool

if you can smoke a cigarrette you can smoke a blunt!

that being said as your lighting it up spin it slowly to make sure its burning evenly, if the ash is covering it up...ash it

Ok, someone help me out here. I used to think that a blunt was just a fat-assed joint. But then a friend of mine told me that a blunt is actually a joint made from an emptied out cigarette. Which is it? Somebody, throw me a bone here! (or a blunt if you wish, unless it's got tobaccy mixed in.)

the difference between a joint and a blunt wrap is that the blunt wrap is made from a tobacco leaf and joint wraps are made from paper

blunt-emptied out/cut cigar filled with weed
blunt wrap-tobacco leaf(usually flavored)

i just had troubles with the last one i rolled up...i donno if it was the way i rolled it but (does overlapping when rolling a blunt mess the blunt up?) when i lit the blunt, i first started to light the tip and rotate the blunt in a circular motion, then out our curiosity, i lit the blunt like a cigarette. I think this messed my cherry up because i wasnt paying attention to each part of the cherry when lighting.

anyone give me tips with blunt rolling and lighting???

thanks

btw, i usually roll smaller blunts, like .5-.8 of a gram. i usually rip some of the blunt paper off when using less then a gram. i start from left to right and try to tuck the bottom paper underneath the above paper as much as possible securing a tight fold. Sometimes i use a tooth pick or a pencil to make sure the bottom paper (the part of the paper your thumbs are most likely touching when holding a blunt) is tucked underneath the above paper (the part of the paper used to fold the blunt). Idk if its how i light my blunts or how i roll them but some are perfect while others start out bad bud end up being ok. use swisher sweets small smaller cigars

Stuff it in a bowl!

God, I don't ever remember knowing so little about a fuckin' joint. I need to be schooled. ;)

the perfect way to light a blunt
1. hold the blunt in your hand
2. pull from each end to see which end is going to hit better
3. put fire to the end u wanna light with out the blunt being in your mouth to burn away any excess paper
turn ur lighter over and use the bottom of the lighter to extinguish the cherry that u have lit giving u a perfcet tip
4. put the blunt in your mouth and re light like a cig
5 enjoy

the tip will be solid and will light perfectly with out runs and as said before if u cant see the cherry simply ash it

btw, sometimes i do rip a SMALL portion of the paper when rolling the blunt but i make sure that holes are not visible. Will ripping a small part of the paper when rolling the blunt cause running or a hole like problem? which causes shitty hits//

Anything less than a gram is a waste in a blunt. Blunts are too expensive to be burnin em for a half a gram. For small amounts like that, I roll a joint (or better yet, pack a bong).

Most of my blunts weigh about 5 grams when finished (roughly 3g of green). I dont smoke blunts often (more of a bong guy), but when I do, I make em count.
