Lighting and Soil for indoor growingg!! Advice needed!!

Hellooo felloww stonerss, i got a few questions here for you..

first off, me nd my brother plan to start growing, we have our grow space, we have out plans we got our seeds. now inorder to start, i wanna make sure we have all out equipment befour we start growing so we dunt end up losing my babys. So i done some reserch and some reading and this is what i came up with this is my plan.

In a dresser, we gutted it all out for its just the shell, we took all the drawers and nailed the facees of them to a peice of plywood and put hindges on it to make a door.

Inside we covered it all with tin foil.
Its a set up for only 3 plants at a time
I have an excust vent and a fresh air vent
but here is my concern the lighting and the soil..

i looked up what kind of blubs would fit my budget and i could only come up with the cfl bulbs.

what do you think aboutthese bulbs, will these bulbs be good for my veg stage, also my flowering stage.
the bulbs are,
cfl light bulbs : 42 watts (150w equiv)

and also the soil,

schultz potting soil plus,

so please try to give me some advice and let me know about my lighting and soil choices

Hello! First grows can be suoer exciting! I should know, I'm doing mine as i type!

few things to consider:
Instead of tinfoil, use flat white paint, or mylar if you can get your hands on it. Either of the two would work well in terms of reflectivity (A lot better than foil).
Soil will be fine. You can grow the seedlings using just water for now. A few weeks in, you will have to introduce some nutrients to facilitate further growth.

Lighting with CFLs is awesome!

I am using them right now in my grow (check out the link in my sig).

It is advised that you use the cool daylight ones, and NOT warm tone CFLs for veg.
Flowering should be done, on the other hand with the warm tone bulbs.

i currently use a blue 250w cfl for my small veg room and a red spectrum 250w cfl for my flower room, my first concern for you is using foil my friend, this absorbs heat way to much, i would use an emergency blanket or something, these things are 90% light + heat reflectors and ther wafer thin, im not to hot on soil knowledge i just use miracle grow 3, hope you get the yield!

where can i get the rite nutrients and what kind and how muchh?

what would be great if someone with the knowloedge can list everything i will need for a sucessfull grow also where i can buy these things and the prices, please and thank you very muchh!!

I personally just use compost As natural as possible!
