Hi

I have re potted my girls into their final pots and one of my 105w 6400k cfl lamp has given up the ghost..

Can i use a 105w 2700k cfl along side this until a replacement arrives or will this just confuse the plants all together.

Your help is appreciated..

Is that with a blue and red light for 18/24 or both blue lights?

if blue i will have to wait for one replacement lamp.

Thanks

Hes saying keep the same light cycle with all of your lights your largest bulb (the red one) and then any other lights you have in there. So put in the 2700 lamp in with the blue and keep your schedule the same.

How long did your light last aren't they supposed to work at least 5 years? CFL is junk, in my opinion, they never work as advertised always ending up dead in two years. It technically would work for 8 years IF the product would be well build but they break so easily.

Zakola as stated mine broke after 9 months,, Thanks for all of your help..
Very unreliable, I suggest you use many low watt CFL around the plants. It covers the plant better and is far more reliable also be able to buy in many stores. The only problem is the setup and having to buy many sockets or lamps with many cables. I would only use a 100w+ CFL vertically in the middle of 4 big plants.
