lighting dilemma for last week of flowering. chemdawg and endless sky

so i carelessly picked a 72 day strain and a 42 day strain and i was wondering about lighting. they started under a 400w mh and are now under a 600hps. would it be bad for the chem's to have 7 days of the 400w mh when they are 35 days into flower(to produce more resin for the endless sky's last week of their lives) or should i keep the 600 in the whole time. i am a noob so i dont know where a 72 day strain is at 35 days in. for that matter will i lose yeild in that last week if i put the 400 in or what. i want to maximize yeild so mabey the 400 is a mistake all together. but mabey im wrong and this was a waste of typing if you already posted something that could help please tell me the link and i will delete this so i dont waste your reading time. thanks

Are saying that you want to lower the wattage you're using from 600w to 400w "to produce more resin"?? Lower wattage usually produces less.

yeah dude idk why you would think that would make more the HPS helps produce more and also the increase in watts porduces more so really you'd be silly to try that idea just let it go and after harvest if you still have it then it goes under the MH to go through veg state again

well i have read that on numerous threads that the hps adds bulk and the mh is more for resin production.so thats why some people use a mh all the way through (when they are not concerned about mass) or for the last week of flowering.pretty much just wondering if it was a 600 mh if your answer would be the same. i have buddies who switch their light for the last week just wondering if the masses thought alike
