Lighting for Autoflower seeds?

I am going to try some autoflowering feminized seeds for the first time and I was wondering what the best lighting regimen would be for them, would you still treat it with the 18 and 6 then switch to 12 and 12 or keep the same lighting scheme the whole growth since they auto flower?

Photoperiod has nothing to do with autos I would go 18/6 they say u can go full 24 but I believe that a dark period is needed for root production. I did mine at 18/6 for 7 weeks but had 2 switch to 12/12 for my other big girls(they were gettin huge) and they did OK but i could tell the growth slowed down alot with 12/12. I would go 18/6 the whole way.

I leave mine 24/0, and my autoflowers are doing great.. you dont need to switch to 12/12 with autoflowers. You can do 18/6, 20/4, or 24/0 all the way through. They respond to age, rather than light. Good luck :)

I would use a lighting system something similar to this: turn the lights on 24/7 for for first week or so then switch it to 18-6 or even 20-4 if you want all the way. It does not require dark periods to produce the flowering stimulant hormone. Hope this helps!

Check out my grow journal if you want any further help or advise!
