Lighting for vegging question

Hey guys/ladies

Im trying to gather information and designing my own CFL stealth grow, this will probably be a space big enough to grow 2 plants with maybe lst or something like that.

I was wondering would these light bulbs be good for vegging i know 6k+ is better but i cant seem to find decent ones in a pack of 6/8 without having my pants ripped down. Found these have good reviews so what you think?

Globe 8170501 T2 23-Watt 5000K Compact Fluorescent Light, 8 Pack

These will be assisted by 3 120mm pc fans 2 intakes and 1 outtake for now if more needed will consider

thanks alot

Thanks for clearing that up but I'm still suspicious to whether using 5000K instead of 6000K+ will the plants be malnurioushed of some light stunting some vegging growth or will 8 of thesew lights be poiwerful enough to veg 1/2 plants doing some sort of lst or something

Thx

Just over a week ago I saw on the news that I'm Almost Certain that the Globe or Possibly Global Brand CFL's were having some Fire Hazzard Issues . From what I've read GE . Sylvania , Phillips or other Major Name Brand have better Quality Control in the China Factories . So Food fer thought to keep in mind ,,,

:O OMG! damn it time to start looking again :( thanks for that DonnyBrook but still would using 8 x 5000k instead of 8 x 6400k+ would effect my plants in a negative way at all even if its less growth?

thx

Heh heh, posted in your other topic before this one. Light more than just one if you're using 5000k. That's all I know. My experience with only 1, a terrible terrible newbie mistake that I'm trying to recover, is not enough focused light. I switched to 1 5500K "full spectrum" from home depot, 2 of those 27W Daylights and 1 125W bright light to try to add a different level of spectrum.
