Lighting Help

So i'm almost 2 weeks into flower and my plants are bushier than an 80's era bush on a girl. I am hesitant to lollipop them as it is my first grow, and i'm just kinda a puss when it comes to any trimming. The lower shaded sites are showing flowering sites already as well. I guess my question is will it be detrimental to just leave em be, and question 2 is would it work to hang some CFL's at the lower branch level. Thanks for listening. (reading I guess)

I like to do any trimming before I start my flowering cycle, they dont need any extra stress at this point in flowering. Adding supplemental lighting will definately help.

Can you explain how having the bushiness is added stress to the plant?
