Lighting Question!

Basically you want to try and exhange the hotter air in the space for cooler air outside of the space as many times per minute as possible to best control temperature.Example : If your grow space is 20 cubic feet, you want something to pull 80CFM of air.IOW, you will be exhanging the air 4 times a minute with 80CFM given a 20 CU FT space. The more air exhange the better. Always mount your exhaust as close to top of your grow space as possible, and your intake (whether passive or active) at the lower most portion of the space. In conjunction with adequate air exhange, keeping the air inside moving around with an oscilating fan also helps.

OH, I should also add that the larger the light, the more air exhange neccessary unless using an A/C reflector. 150 watts still produces a fair amount of heat, though on the smaller end, so you will still need plenty of ventilation.

You're welcome. I found RIU and definately like it better than the other forums around the net, so far everyone is much more polite.
