is five 26 watt cfls sufficient enough for 3 plants to grow and also 1 regular 52w incadecient bulb this is all i have due 2 short funds

It would be good to veg.You want to add way more when you flower for some decent buds.

You can use those CFL. they are the 150w replacement bulbs correct? they work for veg. I def would suggest ,Depending on grow space, at least a little 150W hps during budding with the cfls

yes 90 bucks for a 150w hps and youre set. also, break the incandescent bulb.

the 150w comes with everything, bulb, enclosed ballast. plug it in and youre set homie. be sure to get timers, those are only a couple bucks

HERE THIS IS A 150 WATT

I think it needs it's own ballast though. My 100w did. Just go to the hardware store, they sell kits for like 50 bucks in the outdoor lighting section

i used to use cfls, then i kept having to buy and buy more to keep my plants healthy during flower; then i finally got the hps and now its smooth sailingggggggggg

Thats the root of alot of arguments on here. Yes you can grow weed with cfl, led, mh, hps, or shit even incandescent. Nobody argues that they don't work, the point (I think) is how well compared to how much money. Every time you do the math MH/HPS wins.

hands down. buy the time you buy all your cfls, you realize, shit 20 bucks more and i coulda had a hps haha. i hated moving ALL my cfls every couple days as my plants grew. now i just raise my 1 bulb up and down a couple inches every now and then. so much simpler. its just that first step!
