Lighting Question

im getting a secret jardin dr60 its 2x2x5.5 i have a 150w hps will that be enough for 2 medium plants

should be but I'd watch the heat

how long do you guys think i should veg it to keep it under 4ft at the end of flower

Yes, make sure you account for ventilation in such an enclosed space.

Why let it get to 4 ft? That's way too tall for the 150 to do anything to the lower down branches..? Are you going from seed? If so id do 12/12 all the way with a 150. You only have about 6-8" of good penetration from the top of the canopy with that lamp.

i got a 150w cfl one of the big ones should i put that in there too,and i think i got some of the 42 w ones to and the y connector from a past cfl grow

I would scrog one or two plants in that tent.

But the problem your going to have is the reflector size if you want it air cooled. I would find one that has a vent on top not coming out of the side like most.

i already got one aircooled in the dresser that i built im just gonna take it out and put it in the tent

i would still try to make use of all that height you have to maximize the yield in such a small space overall

if you only grow tiny little 2ft indicas in a space that can hold 4ft plants that just seems like a waste of space to me

with the right strain, and or training although it may complicate things you could think of 2 shelf levels with cfls with 2ft loli pop style indicas on each shelf

or possibly some lower cfl side lighting to help with the 4ft plants you wanted
as i agree that 4ft plants just under 150w is not going to produce great bud at the lower sites it will need some lower lighting cfls would be good for this
growing with a screen will help too in a small space you need to make every bit of space count, and a screen helps to keep the colas organised and from shading eachother

veg till a foot and a half to 2 feet

12/12 from seed will keep them the shortest possible.or lst
