lights 18/6 or 24hrs on?

hi friends well i have 2 plants going auto feminised im growing with cfls ok so im doing the 18/6 i wonder when this 6 hours off the plant has to be in completly darkness or just the lamps off because where im growing even with the lights off i still get a little light of the sun i coud too leave it on 24/7 just want to know whats best !

im on my second week ! and please its my first time growing so tips will be welcome no nutrients yet i was thinking to start next week on the 3rd

for autos the best is 20/4 but i think they would still bud under 24/0 because they are not photoperiod strains

I'm under 24hr now and I've been running this since 6-1-13 and plan to switch to 18/6 7/1/13 ill let u know how it goes good luck

I have learned a plant needs some time for rest while its growing. Even if you dim the light. 18/6 is what id go for.

for autos though it should be 20/4

ok and on these 4 hours .the plant needs to be in completly darkness or just with the light off ?

This is what works best for me as well and when VEGING witch is what your doing light leaks are ok they dont hurt anything as you could do 24/7 if you wantd to anyways i like to keep mine in total darkness though to let them rest
