Lights Around Plants?

I'm growing with cfls and I was wondering if I could put the lights on the sides of the plants instead of overtop to increase grow space in my small box. This is my first grow so I'm using bagseed. I've already thrown out two males and I just found my first female today so I'm pretty excited. The thing is it appears to be mostly sativa and i don't want to outgrow my space (I've already topped it once)

the more lights the better.
if you can have lights all around your plant you'll do fine. but i like having a light on top, so the plant can have something to stretch to.
if you notice dark spots / shade spots, you'll need more light there.

Use so many as possible,,, as long as you get off the heat that the lamps produce ...
I use 600W HPS hanging above + 4 x 200w CFL hanging on the sides, works very nice!......

you need one lamp above the plant, or else the plant will use forever to grow tall ... use 600W dont get much better result than that

Also I've been growing with 6500k cfls and since it's started flowering should I switch to 2700k cfls? I've heard they work best for flowering.
