Lights Beside the Plant?

Hey,

If I want thicker and fatter buds would it be a good idea to have the ussual lights above the plant but then put a few lights beside the plant to encourage sideways growth, or is it pointless?

It's not useless...it's practical. It will help the lower buds out by providing light to denser areas under the plants.

A good rule of thumb jj is that you can never have too much light. The more light the more possibility for large dencse buds. So I would say go ahead and add as many lights to the tops and sides as you can, without having too much heat.

the only problem i ever ran into with side lighting is when the plant perceives the side lights to be brighter than the overhead light. they get very confused when gravity the the light gradient are 90 degrees apart
