Lights During Flowering

im currently flowering 2 super silver have plants and i was wondering if its absolutlely neccessary to have the lights directly over the plants. its beginning to be hard to do so due to limited grow area. due to that i have one 68 w 2700 k in the middle of them almost to the tops and 4 23 w 2700k on the sides. think thats good enough? thanks for help

the main reason ud want ur light concentrated above the plant is the growth auxins are more concentrated at the top of the plant.

i'd only use side light as a suppliment, or maybe i the plant is over 3 feet, light is only gonna penatrate so far through the canopy.

PEACE

Id put a 42 or 68watt 2700k in each corner of the box, put them this way: __ (flat) instead of this way: I (verticle) just a suggestion, plants are lookin good though, check out my closet grow, one plant, Greenhouse Seeds The Church, 19 inches tall, 17 inches wide, 4x42 watt 2700k and 10x26 watt 2700k. somethin you might wanna try with your limited space, make some BUSHES!bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie

i wanted to tie the little one down like you'res slinger. whats the best way? is it too late?
its not too late man, honestly you could cut the little one half way down, right above the third set of leaves and let the secondary growth start shooting up, then tie them down, just use string! i usually poke holes in the rim of the plant container and tie down to that:) happy growing

have the lights 2-4 inches from the plants.. closer the better... cfls dont emmit much lumens. and like he said... try to make em horizontal as possible.... i think u got a box fixture... try buying some y - splitters... they angle ur lights so ur bulbs are more horizontal
