Lights on buds or leaves

Do buds grow from lighting on the buds or lighting from the leaves?

pphotosynthesis bro plants take in light through the leaves to perform the fuctions necessary to produce buds at all if u noticed there are no buds untill you trigger flowering how do u think the plant gets its energy during veg?

Yea I know that but then the popcorn buds wudnt be popcorn buds would they if they didn't rely on light? If it was jus leaves all buds would get some amount of energy? That's jus my personal take on it any body elses?
