lights per plant help

i have a veg room and a budding room currently running and have 9 plants in the bud room which is 10x7. the plants are between four and six feet tall. they are under a 600watt hortilux super hps running from a lumatek ballast. my veg room runs a two month veg cycle.... my problem is i got a little clone happy and have 31 clones in my veg room getting bigger and bigger if i take my light from the veg room,which is the same as the one in the budding room but with a mh would that be enough light to bud them out and should i get another hps bulb or leave the mh.

You have 6'plants in a 10'x7' room under a single 600...............is this right?

Ed Rosenthal of Ask ed fame suggest 60 to80 watts per spuare foot.,. so you have 70 square feet so between 4200 and 5600 watts.... so ramp them up and givem all the power you got or can afford.... expanding your grow 600 watts at a time is a solution...

yeah the plants i grew from seed are about 6 feet and the ones i grew from clone are about 4 or 5 feet. the strains are chronic, strawberry cough ,m39, and jack herer. theyre doing nice! i cant really put more than 1200 watts total in the budding room if i rotate you think ill be able to get a decent amount of nugs
